Something about Delta Valley
Delta
Valley’s
landscaping operations has been in place since
1987. The company comes with a strong background in
related agriculture fields and basic business
interests. Mark Anderson, sole owner of Delta
Valley, grew up on a farm east of Camrose, Alberta,
where daily farm operations and an interest in
agriculture have led him to the position of
proprietorship today.
While attending the University of San Diego and
University of Alberta, he concentrated his interest
to studying Agriculture and Business. Many
subsequent courses have been taken to target and
specialize in the landscape industry. These courses
include Advanced Turf Grass Maintenance Certificate
Level III, Pesticide Applicators Course, Journeyman
Landscape Certificate, and pruning courses for
Arborists.
Organization
Each
division is directly managed by supervisors
specializing in maintenance, landscaping, and snow
removal on sidewalks or parking lots. Delta Valley
employs between 45 and 65 employees, depending on
quantity of work required for the given year. On
the average, 30-40 employees return each year with
25-35 staff members retained year round for snow
removal.
With Delta Valley continually growing to meet
clients' demands, we are looking to provide more
training to employees and encourage them in
educational landscape programs. Because of the
difficulty in maintaining a solid staff in the
landscape industry, Delta Valley provides a strict
yet employable and rewarding environment for optimum
performance.
As well, continual training is a must to stay on top
of the landscape industry this millennium.
Communication
The
organization is administered by Mark along with the
close working relationship with the supervisors and
staff. Projects are monitored and communication
lines are kept open to ensure that everything remain
in a positive and operative condition.
Communication is a must, as everyone works together
for optimal performance and safety. Supervisors and
crew chiefs are provided with mobile phones and
radios to ensure proper communication among the
management, crew, and clientele anytime. As well,
all trucks are equipped with two-way radios to keep
small headaches from snow balling.
Our Goal
Delta
Valley
actively pursues small to large contracts with a
demand for neat, orderly, and prolific landscape.
With regularly scheduled, well-planned maintenance
programs, Delta Valley can assure property owners,
managers and businesses well-kept grounds all year
round. It is these maintenance programs that
guarantee your landscape investment will
continuously grow more attractive year after year.
Likewise, with our good planning and expert
implementation of your exterior landscapes, we
guarantee that your landscape investment will
enhance the value and look of your site. Thus a
positive first impression conveyed through strength
and character results in an established, prestigious
image of your property.
